AMO-4S Partnership: A Robust and Configurable Occupational Health and Safety Management Program

AMO is partnering with 4S Consulting Services Inc. as our preferred provider of an occupational health and safety (OHS) management program. This partnership will help municipal governments continue to build effective OHS programs to improve productivity, reduce costs, and create a safer workplace.

This is the latest of several AMO partnerships (Notarius in 2017, eSCRIBE in January 2019) aimed at helping municipal governments harness digital technology to improve service delivery and efficiency, and engage residents to build stronger relationships.

4S will be offering OHS training, consulting and their digital dashboard tool, 4Safecom, at exclusive pricing to AMO members.

The digital dashboard tool, the 4Safecom Safety Training and Management System, will allow municipalities to:

  • Store and manage all OHS training and/or certification of your employees
  • Receive alerts on expired or expiring training and/or certification
  • Capture and store all accident and incident information
  • Track employee issues such as disciplinary matters, illness, injuries, etc.

All of the solutions that our digital technology partners offer must be scalable, affordable, easy to use, and expedite internal municipal processes. Most of our members are small (271 of the 444 municipalities in Ontario have populations under 10,000) and technology must be scalable to their operations without loss of functionality or resources. We are happy to see that 4S solutions have been used by a city the size of Kingston as well as a municipality the size of South Dundas.

On June 26, AMO hosted a webinar introducing the partnership with 4S, the products and services that they will be offering members, and a brief demo of the 4Safecom platform. A recording of the webinar is now available. Please watch and share with your networks.

For those that are attending the AMO Conference in Ottawa this year, please drop by the 4S booth at the Exhibit Hall in the Shaw Convention Centre. They are looking forward to meeting you and discussing your OHS program needs.
We are also working to implement 4S solutions internally at AMO to manage and track OHS training compliance of our board members and employees.

If you are interested in further details about the products and services that 4S is offering or are interested in scheduling a demo of the 4SafeCom platform to show to your council or staff, please contact Addy Yellapantula.
